Have you ever attended a gathering that is oh so blissful? Or have met someone who exudes so much bliss?

I have.

For my first post for the year, I wanted to share with you all one of my greatest blessings in 2014– Martine de Luna, my blog coach, my inspiration.

Happy People + Beautiful Place: The Blissmakerie 2014 4

Martine is the epitome of beauty not just physically but overall as a person. She exudes bliss and beauty in everything she does, whether it be in blogging, connecting via social media, conducting workshops, even styling her home and being a wife/mama! She effortlessly turn ordinary things and people to extraordinary ones through her mentoring, guidance and advices. Everyone she comes in contact with blooms in a meaningful way. Through her, I was able to grasp how to really blog purposefully and discovered what slow blissful living yet staying productive truly is about.

On December 6, I had the privilege to be part of the girls she invited to spend a blissful afternoon with her for a Christmas treat/thanksgiving get-together she has put together for all her friends, co-blissmakers, collaborators and bloggy belles– the Bliss Makerie 2014

Love how they did our place cards in the form of this native Christmas ball. Definitely keeping this to be put up on our tree every Christmas!

The place was perfect! I love how Constance Styling was able to turn a very simple place to a rustic-dreamy bliss. They had bring to life the creative ideas of how Martine imagined the venue to be.

Dainty, isn’t it?

The event was held at Scarsdale Artisanal Delights in Shaw. I love the place, I love the food! I can imagine myself conducting clay workshops in there, too. It was my first time to try the food and it really didn’t disappoint. I love their croughnuts and I especially love the croughnut poppers. Yum yum!!

HAPPY WOMEN + BEAUTIFUL PLACE: THE BLISSMAKERIE 2014

One of the activities that we did that afternoon was the design your own croughnut contest. We were able to pick our own ingredients and designed it with toppings available on the buffet table. Upon hearing the mechanics, I already had an idea of what I wanted to do in mind (nahirapan lang ako to really put it together during the process. Ang hirap pala ilagay ng lashes! I wanted a happy face.. exactly what I was feeling right at that moment). Here’s what I did, come take a look…

It was so much fun!!! albeit my croughnut looking quite scary, hihi.

I also met lots of inspiring women during the event. Some I’ve known for a while online but have not met personally. Glad to have finally seen the lovely faces behind the amazing blogs.

HAPPY WOMEN + BEAUTIFUL PLACE: THE BLISSMAKERIE 2014And to cap off the night, everyone went home with a gift from Martine; a blissful box of her well selected products (details below!) from her sponsors and brand partners that made us all excited and happy! 😀

Martine not only became my blog coach, she has continuously inspired me to live a blissful life. Opened doors for bigger possibilities, proven that what I’ve always dreamed of of people working together instead of “competing to the point of killing each other” is achievable, and that working together through collaboration and hitting bigger dreams is doable.

God made me cross paths with her during the time I was in complete confusion and unsure of what I’d do with my blog and my creative business. He has made a significant change in my life through the works of my coach. Now I feel truly happy to have the clarity on what my blog is all about and as an added bonus, of being a part of such a wonderful, creative and supportive group — the Make It Blissful community. As per my creative business, I know that keeping it means being able to support women, especially moms, who choose to work and earn from home by creating and selling their handmade works, growth will be a continuous process but I’m sure, albeit slowly, I’m going to get there.

Martine has been God’s way of answering my prayers. She is my blessing. And for that I am truly grateful. To my dear lovely coach, CONGRATS! May God bless everything that you do that you may continue to serve as an inspiration to your bloggy belles, like me! I love you! 🙂
